Review And Swatches- ORANGE CANDY

The lipsticks shades are all very bright and attractive, so it was very hard to choose a shade. I wanted to try the texture of the lipstick before buying them all, therefore I ended up buying Orange Candy.

The packaging is very bright, funky and attractive. The lipstick crayon comes in a plastic tube with a rotating retractor. PSX_20170626_131638.jpgPSX_20170626_131608.jpg

As the name suggests Orange Candy is a bright ORANGE shade. PSX_20170626_131537.jpg

The lipstick is named Lakme Absolute Lip Pouts Matte Masaba Lips but this is absolutely MISLEADING. The lipsticks are NOT matte, its more of a creme lipstick. It is also not waterproof or smudge-proof.PSX_20170626_131513.jpg

My Opinion:-

I wasn’t paid to write this review and its a totally honest opinion. It is very disappointing to see big brands collaborating with famous designers creating these highly advertised collections which are just lies and false claims. If I am paying 750 Rs for a matte lipstick, I expect to get a matte lipstick. This is a creme lipstick not a matte one. Also it doesn’t last that long and gets smudged easily.

  • Nice Pacakging
  • Easily available
  • Available in vibrant 10 shades
  • Available in a easy rotating retractable tube

  • Not matte
  • Not waterproof
  • Not smudge-proof
  • Not long lasting
  • expensive
  • smells weird
  • Falsely advertised

To conclude I would like to say I am very much disappointed in the promotion campaign of the product and the product itself. It is not right for big brands to falsely advertise their products.

Colourpop Cosmetics swatches- Ultra Matte, Lippie Stix and Pressed powder Eyeshadow

I am very excited to share this post with all of you. Make up is fun and I love it when its affordable. Colourpop cosmetics is a USA brand which has been the talk of town since their launch. Although they have a huge range of products available for lips, eyes, face and brows but their Ultra Matte Lipsticks and Lippie Stix are the  most popular products.

In this post I am going to share the swatches of all the Ultra Matte Lipsticks, Lippie Stixs and Pressed powder eyeshadows.

Colourpop Ultra Matte Lipstick – Swatches

As the name suggests these lipsticks are Matte as hell. The shades I own are amazing and suitable for Indian skin tones. We in India have been loving colourpop since its launch and are so happy that they ship to India.

The lipstick shades from Left to Right are:-

Wild Nothing

Fresh Cut

Little Weapon

Colourpop Lippie Stix- Swatches

The lippie stix are like any other lipstick. They come with a bullet inside plastic tubes. Personally I prefer these over the Ultra Matte and Ultra Satin lipsticks as they are more convenient to apply. We all know how much time the liquid lipsticks take to apply properly so, Lippie stix are my favorite go to. Also unlike the Ultra Matte lipsticks these lippie stix are quite moisturizing.

The lipstick shades from Left to Right are:-

Trust Me

Date Mate

Deja Vu

Colourpop Pressed Powder Eyeshadow:- Swatches

For just 5$ a piece these pressed powders are a steal. There are many matte and glitter shades to choose from. They also provide free palettes on the purchase of every 4 pressed powders. The thing I love the most about this is that you can curate your palettes according to the looks you want to create.

For example I curated the palette in these pictures as I wanted to create a sunset look. I will be uploading the pictures of the look on my Instagram soon. Do follow me to check it out.

The eye shadow shades from Left to Right are:-

Best Coast Scenario

Oh Ship

The lip swatches of  the lipsticks will be on my Instagram and Facebook pages soon. Stay connected to look at them.

I hope you find this post helpful and do contact me if you have any quires or requests. Let me know your favorite shade 🙂

With all the work load I am under I will try to keep up with my blog posts. Thank you for all the love you have shown me till now. I promise to always stay true to my readers and my reviews are totally honest.
