Hey Guys,

It is an era of face masks. Everyone is ready to experiment and try with new skin care techniques. With so many variants and brands in the market, it’s so hard to choose the right one. Today I am going to help make your life easier and your skin brighter.

Mama Earth is a fantastic brand that concentrates on the health, welfare and beauty of both moms and babies. MAMAEARTH is one brand that helps in protecting you and your babies with safe, toxin-free, international standard products. In today’s post I will tell you about the benefits of The C3 mask by mama Earth. IMG_6207.JPG

About MamaEarth C3 Mask:-

C3 stands for Charcoal, Coffee and Clay.  After pregnancy your skin can lose their brightness, increase blemishes, increase pigmentation in skin. This mask is targeted at getting your glowing skin back. It also claims to reduce pigmentation of the skin, thereby giving you flawless skin. Charcoal helps with acne, Coffee stimulates the blood flow and removes toxins thereby smoothing away blemishes. Papaya, Mulberry & other fruit extracts improve skin elasticity and minimize the appearance of pores.

Ingredients:-IMG_6567

Price:-

Rs 599 for a 100 ml tub. You can buy the product from mamaearth.in, Amazon, Nykaa, Flipkart.

Directions to use:-

Apply a thick layer on the face and upper part of the neck, avoiding the eye area. Leave on to dry for 10 – 15 minutes. Remove the mask first by gently rubbing in circular motions for an overall exfoliation. Wash any excess with lukewarm water and gently pat dry. Recommended to use twice a week and to follow with your favorite moisturizer.

My Experience with the MamaEarth C3 Mask:-IMG_6211.JPGIMG_6213.JPGIMG_6218.JPGIMG_6220.JPG

The very first reason why I was attracted and impressed by this brand is their focus on the welfare of mothers and their babies. The Mask is an amazing product. The three main ingredients ( charcoal, clay, coffee) go perfectly well with each other.

The packaging is very secure as the mask comes in a plastic tub with a screw top cap and spill proof seal. The texture of the mask is thick and earthy, It smells of coffee and clay. The claims that are absolutely true about this mask are that this mask is good at exfoliation, it does makes your face looking fresh and bright. The face mask also claims to reduce pigmentation and lighten dark spots but I did not see my dark spots lightening even after using the mask for more than a month.

Pros:-

  • 100% toxin free
  • Full of fruit extracts – mulberry, cucumber, and papaya
  • Brightens skin tone
  • Reduces inflammations like redness, pimples and acne
  • Good quantity for a decent price
  • Does great exfoliation removes dead cells
  • Natural product
  • Especially designed for mothers

Cons:-

  • A bit drying
  • Bulky packaging
  • Doesn’t reduce dark spots or pigmentation

I hope you find this review helpful. This product was sent to me in a PR package but this review is absolutely honest. I will soon be back with another post. Until then please follow me on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

Smells good!! – Review of my favourite Body Mists

Hi Ya’ll,

What does summer remind you of? If your answer is loads of sweat and foul body odor, you are at the right place.
I feel refreshing when I use body mist, especially in this summer heat. It helps mask our sweaty humanly scent and also leaves us feeling cool. Over the past few months I have tried many body mists.
So I decided to write a blog about these body mists and sharing details of which ones I like the best and why.

IMG_5964.JPGPSX_20170718_233417.jpgIMG_5963.JPG

1. Moringa body mist by The Body Shop –

This was the first body mist that I ever bought. The subtle, delicate fresh floral smell of the body mist is refreshing, especially when used early morning after shower. I love that it does not have a sweet smell or an alcoholic scent to it. The fragrance lasts for 1-2 hours, there is a light hint of smell for longer period of time.
Recommended for those who like subtle smell based body mist.
Now that we have covered the smell of the body mist, here are some details about packaging – It comes in a transparent glass bottle so try not to drop it :). The nozzle for spraying is of very good quality and works properly.

100 ml bottle is priced for 795 Rs
Rating 4.5 on 5img_5985.jpgIMG_5986.JPG

2. Beautiful day body mist by Natural Bath & Body –

It has a sweet floral smell with a cooling sensation. I do wish that the smell would last longer (at best the smell lasts for an hour).
Packaging– It comes in plastic bottle. I had received a sample size product in my fab bag. The nozzle for spraying came off within a few days.

200 ml for 325 Rs
Rating 2.5 on 5img_6000.jpgimg_6001.jpg

3. Oriental body mist by Streax –

I wanted to compare economical body mist to the other options in the market. So I bought this one as it had really good reviews from customers on Amazon.
As name suggests, it has oriental smell (unique blend of warmth and sensuality). I find the smell pleasant. I could smell hints of musk, vanilla and jasmine in the body mist, because of which I use it as a deodorant.
Those who like oriental smell should give it a try.
The smell lasts for 2-3 hrs.
Packaging- The body mist comes in purple plastic bottle that you can carry in your purse. The nozzle for spraying is of good quality.

100 ml for 188 Rs
Rating 3 on 5IMG_6010.JPGIMG_6014.JPG

4. Nargis body mist by Forest Essentials –

This is my favourite one. Cooling sensation when you apply the body mist is amazing. The body mist has a powering sweet and fresh smell of Nargis. This feminine body mist is recommended for ladies who love refreshing strong floral scent and the smell is long-lasting. The only thing bad about this product is that it is expensive.
Packaging -The bottle comes in a transparent plastic bottle that you can carry in your purse. The nozzle for spraying is of very good quality.

100 ml for 1895 Rs
Rating 5 on 5IMG_5990.JPGIMG_5994.JPG

5. Forever 16 body mist by NewU –

The body mist captures a 16-year-old girl’s spirit (pun intended!).
It has a sweet fruity smell. It is perfect for teenage girls or for those who are young at heart. The only problem is the sticky sensation left behind when you apply the mist.
The smell is long-lasting.
Packaging- It comes transparent plastic bottle and the nozzle for spraying is sturdy and is great value for money.

250 ml for 399 Rs
Rating 3 on 5img_5979.jpgIMG_5984.JPGIMG_5983.JPG

6. Luscious Bloom body mist by NewU –

The body mist is perfect for day-to-day use with its combination of musky and floral fragrance.
I like the fact that the smell is not overpowering. Again the initial sticky sensation when applying the body mist may be unpleasant to some (the sensation fades away).
The smell is long-lasting.
Packaging- It comes transparent plastic bottle and the nozzle for spraying is sturdy and is great value for money.

250 ml for 399 Rs
Rating 4 on 5img_5977.jpgIMG_5971.JPG

JUVIA’S PLACE ‘THE SAHARAN’ PALETTE: REVIEWS AND SWATCHES

Hello everyone,

Today I am going to talk about Juvia’s place ‘The Saharan’ Palette. It was launched last year and is priced at $28.00. IMG_0049.JPG

ABOUT THE PALETTE and INGREDIENTS:-wp-image-285992061png.png

THE PACKAGING:-

The Packaging is a lot similar to the other Juvia’s Place palettes. It’s a cardboard palette with pans of eye-shadows spread out within it. The front of the palette is red in color with mint trims.

IMG_0046.JPG

THE INSPIRATION:-

The vibrant and lively shades are inspired by the Wodaabe festivities of the Fulani culture. At the end of September the Wodaabe people gather together and the young men dress up in elaborate costumes and makeup and perform songs and dances to impress the marriageable women.IMG_0051.JPG

THE SHADES:-

The amount of product in the palette is 18g/ .63oz. This palette contains 12 eye-shadows; 6 Metallic shades, 2 Satin shades and 4 Matte shades. IMG_0052.JPG

MY EXPERIENCE:-

I just fell in love with the palette. Its beautiful!! All the shades are extremely pigmented. The matte Shades (Chad, Sokoto, Jamila and Katsina) are very smooth and not at all chalky.

The Metallic shades (Fula, Senegal, Kia, Wodaabe, Bororo, Iman) are breathtaking and very shimmery.

The Satin shades (Lulu, Zoya) are silky and had very little amount of fall outs.

I created this look using the shades Chad, Sokoto, Bororo, Wadaabe and Zoya.

MY VERDICT:-

I would recommend everyone to invest in this palette. This is a beauty and a must have. Some of the shades like Katsina and Zoya are not that visible on Indian skin tone but the other matte and metallic foils are just amazing. The formula is one of the best on the market, with all shades being very buttery and highly pigmented. on the top of all this, I think the palette is very decently priced.

Do follow me on Instagram and Facebook for more swatches and beauty posts.

Do follow my blog and show some love ❤ I will see you guys soon with more exciting stuff. Till then stay happy and stylish.

April favorites :)

Hello Everyone,

I am enjoying the sh*t out of summers. Chuski, swimming, ice-creams, mangoes and watermelons… I am just loving it all. Enough said about the season’s favorites, 😛 lets get talking about my favorite skin care and makeup products for the month of April.

  1. NYX Full Throttle Shadow Palette- Bossy :-

NYX has 4 shades available in the Full Throttle Shadow Palette, but Bossy is my favorite. It contains four pigment-packed shadows in the tones of pink and purple. These palettes are small and compact therefore very easy to travel with. They are super pigmented and you can create multiple looks with it.

I like to create a purple cut crease with a pink gradation on my lids.  It  looks great and is definitely eye catchy. The safe bet is that we can never doubt the quality and packaging of NYX products.

2. PAC Cosmetics Eyelashes :-

PAC Cosmetics is one drugstore brand that has managed to impress me the most. There prices, quality and packaging are great. They are also easily accessible. I have loved their brushes,  makeup blending sponges and mascaras. Lashes are the most recent of my purchases from PAC and well, they are damn good.

Priced at just Rs 165 they are the most affordable lashes ever. They have a huge range of falseies to choose from. With these lashes you are set for any possible makeup look.

3. Smytten:-

Smytten is a website where in you can buy and try beauty and makeup products from the best premium brands in India. I have been using the smytten app since a long time. Over the period of time they have sent me many samples and I have shopped a great deal of stuff from them.

The reason smytten is making it in my favorites this month is because of gorgeous offers they had during their Easter sale. The offers were great and I ended up saving a ton of  money. Another great thing is that after every shopping I get many samples 🙂 As they say it I am smytten by this application.

4. Colourpop Ultra Matte Lipstick in the shade Embellish:-

I am all about dark vampy shades of lipstick these days and we can all trust the quality of colourpop lipsticks. The shade EMBELLISH is a beautiful dark brown shade. It looks great when paired with neutral eyes.

I love the colour brown and lipsticks, so its just hard to resist when you combine the two I have a few lip swatches on my instagram.  Click here to take a look.

IMG_2293.JPGIMG_2295.JPGIMG_2296.JPG

5. Batiste Dry Shampoo:-

Summers are accompanied by a lot of sweating. With the routines we follow its practically impossible to wash our hair daily. Also the scorching sun results in the release of loads of natural oil and sweat.

The travel size Batiste Dry shampoo bottles have been my savior. I keep one in my purse and whenever I feel a lot of oil in my hair, I just spray  it on. The dry shampoo works extremely well and the best product invented for a lazy chic like me 😛

IMG_2142.JPG

6. Spawake Moisture Fresh BB Cream:-

Spawake is a brand that offers a range of skin care products which are developed from natural sea weeds. I recently tried their Spawake Moisture Fresh BB Cream Natural Glow. It is made from a sea mineral moisture formula with a delightfully lightweight texture. It spreads smoothly over skin. BB Cream contains SPF 25/PA++ that corrects your skin tone.

Do let me know if you have tried and of them.
