Just a few months ago Nykaa.com had launched their matte nailpaints and matte lipsticks. These products soon gained a lot of attention and were really appreciated by a lot of beauty and makeup experts. Now Nykaa has decided to expand their makeup range to EYES.
Most recently they launched their very own ‘Nykaa Black Magic Liquid Eyeliner’ in the shade Super Black 01. I am all about Kohl, eyeliners and mascaras and therefore got my hand on it as soon as possible. 🙂 Now, lets see if this product actually stands up to its claims.

MY FIRST IMPRESSION AND REVIEW:-
The eyeliner comes in a red colored paper box which is quite attractive and cool. The body of the eyeliner itself is black in color and matte in texture. The good part about the body is that the wand handle is very big and therefore easy to use. Coming to the bristles they are thin, soft and neatly packed. The thin bristles glide beautifully on your lids and are perfect for creating a neat winged eyeliner. It is water resistant as claimed by Nykaa but not waterproof. However it doesn’t last for 10 hours and starts cracking and disappearing from the edges in around 3-4 hours. It is smudge-proof but when rubbed a little aggressively it starts to crack from here and there.
Finally, I would like to say that for a decent price Nykaa has managed to do a more than decent job and I am very impressed by Nykaa Black Magic Liquid Eyeliner.

CONS:-
- Not waterproof
- Does not lat for 10 hours as claimed by the brand
- Needs touchups after every 3-4 hours
- Bristles pickup a lot product at once
- Needs a lot of layering to create thick and bold eyeliner looks

WOULD I BUY THIS PRODUCT AGAIN AND RECOMMEND IT TO OTHERS?
Absolutely. This is by far the best eyeliner in the lower price range column.
