I am back with yet another haul from SHEIN coz I literally can’t get enough!! Here are 6 of my latest favourite picks from the app.

1. Solid Crop Denim Jacket:-

Well, I love this coz it’s bright and beautiful and is great to bring a pop of colour to any outfit. A denim jacket is also perfect for Bangalore’s weather and therefore I wanted to get one in a colour other than blue. This is retailed at ₹ 1,704.

3. Pom Pom Decor Color Block Backpack:-

Shein has been my latest shopping groud for bags so when I knew I needed a new backpack, I knew where to look. I love the pink and grey colour blocking in this bag. Also the cute pom pom detail is adorable. It has 3 zips and is very spacious. It is retailed at ₹ 1,192.

4. Dark Wash Buckle Belted Utility Jeans:-

I am obsessed with denims and specially the ones that look different. This utility jeans is so cool. Also the dark wash colour gives it a more utility jeans vibe. It’s so fashionable and super comfortable. Although I’m wearing a size XS and it runs a little loose on me. The buckle belt is so amazing. It is retailed at ₹ 1,501.

Graphic tees are my latest obsession and I found this super cool one on shein. I love this tee coz of its colours and this would look great with skirts, shorts or jeans. I love how versatile it is. It is retailed at ₹ 838.

6. Solid Notched Collar Coat:-

Although it’s not that cold in Bangalore but I was really missing creating some seasonal content for winters and I therefore decided to order this long trench coat. It is very warm, the material is fantastic and looks superb. The only disadvantage is that it doesn’t have any buttons or any belt. This was retailed at ₹ 1,871.

SHEIN Black Friday Sale Haul

Hey guys,

By now you know that I am a shopaholic and I love nothing more than a good sale.

Recently https://m.shein.in/ had their Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale which had crazy discounts. The items were upto 90% off and that gave me an opportunity to shop like crazy.

I picked up 5 pair of clothings and am super proud of my haul. Each piece is very different from the other but they all have 1 thing in common, that they look fabulous.

This top is super cute. It will be perfect for layering during winter season. I paired it with a cargo pants that I had bought from SHEIN last year. 2. Crisscross Draped Back Split Side Floral Satin Dress:-

This satin dress is sexy as hell. There are so many ways to dress up or dress down a slip dress. I love them for their versatility. I wore it with a white top and had to wear a slip inside as it was a bit sheer. But if you are going to a beach then this dress is just perfect for you. This dress retails for ₹1,134.

3. Notched Collar Raw Trim Tweed Blazer & Shorts Set:-

This outfit is super classy but still as an edgy feel to it because of the shorts. I love that fact that these are separated and can we worn or styled separately too. The blazer is cute with very cool buttons. I always wanted a tweed blazer and therefore bought this set. It’s like owning something that looks super expensive without having to pay a lot of money for it. This set is priced at ₹2,837.

Whenever I walk out wearing this hoodie and pants set, I attract a lot of attention. This is red and fabulous. The plaid panels on the side are super cool. I love that the hoodie top is cropped. This set is perfect for the Bangalore weather. The pants are amazing. This set is priced at ₹1,805.

Lets talk a bit about their collection:-

There is no doubt that the store is huge and beautiful but nothing can beat the amazing pieces of jewellery. I was most impressed by their Jaipur, butterfly and floral collection. Being bought up in Jaipur I was blown away by the detailing of the collection. The Hawa Gulabi Jharokha Ring from the Jaipur collection was my absolute favourite. It did remind me of home. The butterfly collection was a huge hit amongst everyone. The pendents, rings and earrings could make for a beautiful set and stunning pieces on their own.

JUVIA’S PLACE ‘THE SAHARAN’ PALETTE: REVIEWS AND SWATCHES

Hello everyone,

Today I am going to talk about Juvia’s place ‘The Saharan’ Palette. It was launched last year and is priced at $28.00. 

ABOUT THE PALETTE and INGREDIENTS:-

THE PACKAGING:-

The Packaging is a lot similar to the other Juvia’s Place palettes. It’s a cardboard palette with pans of eye-shadows spread out within it. The front of the palette is red in color with mint trims.

THE INSPIRATION:-

The vibrant and lively shades are inspired by the Wodaabe festivities of the Fulani culture. At the end of September the Wodaabe people gather together and the young men dress up in elaborate costumes and makeup and perform songs and dances to impress the marriageable women.

THE SHADES:-

The amount of product in the palette is 18g/ .63oz. This palette contains 12 eye-shadows; 6 Metallic shades, 2 Satin shades and 4 Matte shades. 

MY EXPERIENCE:-

I just fell in love with the palette. Its beautiful!! All the shades are extremely pigmented. The matte Shades (Chad, Sokoto, Jamila and Katsina) are very smooth and not at all chalky.

The Metallic shades (Fula, Senegal, Kia, Wodaabe, Bororo, Iman) are breathtaking and very shimmery.

The Satin shades (Lulu, Zoya) are silky and had very little amount of fall outs.

I created this look using the shades Chad, Sokoto, Bororo, Wadaabe and Zoya.

MY VERDICT:-

I would recommend everyone to invest in this palette. This is a beauty and a must have. Some of the shades like Katsina and Zoya are not that visible on Indian skin tone but the other matte and metallic foils are just amazing. The formula is one of the best on the market, with all shades being very buttery and highly pigmented. on the top of all this, I think the palette is very decently priced.

April favorites :)

Hello Everyone,

I am enjoying the sh*t out of summers. Chuski, swimming, ice-creams, mangoes and watermelons… I am just loving it all. Enough said about the season’s favorites, 😛 lets get talking about my favorite skin care and makeup products for the month of April.

1. NYX Full Throttle Shadow Palette- Bossy :-

NYX has 4 shades available in the Full Throttle Shadow Palette, but Bossy is my favorite. It contains four pigment-packed shadows in the tones of pink and purple. These palettes are small and compact therefore very easy to travel with. They are super pigmented and you can create multiple looks with it.

I like to create a purple cut crease with a pink gradation on my lids.  It  looks great and is definitely eye catchy. The safe bet is that we can never doubt the quality and packaging of NYX products.

2. PAC Cosmetics Eyelashes :-

PAC Cosmetics is one drugstore brand that has managed to impress me the most. There prices, quality and packaging are great. They are also easily accessible. I have loved their brushes,  makeup blending sponges and mascaras. Lashes are the most recent of my purchases from PAC and well, they are damn good.

Priced at just Rs 165 they are the most affordable lashes ever. They have a huge range of falseies to choose from. With these lashes you are set for any possible makeup look.

3. Smytten:-

Smytten is a website where in you can buy and try beauty and makeup products from the best premium brands in India. I have been using the smytten app since a long time. Over the period of time they have sent me many samples and I have shopped a great deal of stuff from them.

The reason smytten is making it in my favorites this month is because of gorgeous offers they had during their Easter sale. The offers were great and I ended up saving a ton of  money. Another great thing is that after every shopping I get many samples 🙂 As they say it I am smytten by this application.

4. Colourpop Ultra Matte Lipstick in the shade Embellish:-

I am all about dark vampy shades of lipstick these days and we can all trust the quality of colourpop lipsticks. The shade EMBELLISH is a beautiful dark brown shade. It looks great when paired with neutral eyes.

I love the colour brown and lipsticks, so its just hard to resist when you combine the two I have a few lip swatches on my instagram.  Click here to take a look.

5. Batiste Dry Shampoo:-

Summers are accompanied by a lot of sweating. With the routines we follow its practically impossible to wash our hair daily. Also the scorching sun results in the release of loads of natural oil and sweat.

The travel size Batiste Dry shampoo bottles have been my savior. I keep one in my purse and whenever I feel a lot of oil in my hair, I just spray  it on. The dry shampoo works extremely well and the best product invented for a lazy chic like me 😛

6. Spawake Moisture Fresh BB Cream:-

Spawake is a brand that offers a range of skin care products which are developed from natural sea weeds. I recently tried their Spawake Moisture Fresh BB Cream Natural Glow. It is made from a sea mineral moisture formula with a delightfully lightweight texture. It spreads smoothly over skin. BB Cream contains SPF 25/PA++ that corrects your skin tone.

I hope you will give these products a try. I am telling you, they are worth your time, effort and money.

Let’s Patch Things up-Part 2

In my last post Lets Patch things up- part 1, I wrote about the latest trend of badges, patches, brooches and pins and how to style your clothing using this trend. This post is on styling accessories and shoes using badges, patches, brooches and pins.

1. Trendy Bags:-

Back when I was in school we use to put badges on our backpack for the cool kids effect. Back then there were not many choices when it came to badges and patches. Smiley faces in round shape were easily available. Later came the badges with our favourite superhero emblems and TV stars (I remember owning a few Hannha Montana badges) but the shape was still round.

Now with the wide variety of designs and shapes being available, decorating your backpack is super easy. Big brands are embracing the patch trend and decorating their purses, totes, pouches, slings and clutches too.

Brands like Karl Lagerfeld and Gucci have  also been using patches and badges lately to stay on trend and make their bags unique.

2. Caps/ Beanies/Hats:-

80s hair and head accessories have had a major fashion influence. Bikers and sports fan have always been seen rocking patches on their caps. But now its not just limited to bikers and sports fans or caps.

Putting 2 or 3 pins on a beanie is a great way to style this up.  You can also sew on a few patches on your favorite hat to match your outfit or location.

3. Shoes:-

Patches can be put on any footwear – from boots to bellies and from heels to flats.

DIY your old pair of loafers or sneakers by sewing on some fun patches. Your boots can be given a whole new look by loading them with pins. For example, you can put the GAME OVER patch on your shoes for a great effect.

10 Things you need to stay stylish in winters of 2017

Hola Everyone,

A very Happy New Year to all of you. My resolutions for this year are quite simple. Like 90% of the people I have decided to go to the gym regularly but, instead of loosing weight I am planning on gaining some. I also plan on traveling a lot and therefore you are going to see a lot more travel blogs from me. The last resolution is to follow every upcoming style and fashion trend.

So, keeping in mind my last resolution I made a list of few things that would help me stay fashionable in the winters of 2017. I am sharing my list with you guys and hope you too will find it helpful.

1. Flared jeans :- Yes they are back. The bell bottoms from the 90s are back in fashion and fashionistas all over the world have been spotted wearing flared jeans this season. From Kendell Jenner to Kangana Ranaut, it’s all over the globe.
2. Knee high boots:- They are a classic winter must have. These gorgeous high boots are mainly used to fulfill two purposes. First, to keep you covered and secondly, to increase your sex appeal. When worn with slacks or a pencil skirt, knee-high boots are totally office-appropriate and can be party ready when worn with a mini skirt or shorts.
3. Ankle boots:- A heel ankle boot is the best way to pick up your jeans, tapered trousers, a flippy printed dress, or winter shorts and tights a notch while still maintaining the tough and rugged feel.
4. Midi coats:- Midi coats are the thing this season. Not only do they keep you warm but it will also elevate your favorite jeans-and-sweater outfit and give you ultra-chic coverage over a dress. Midi coats are the most comfortable and stylish option when it comes to layering.
5. Classic black high neck:-This season hails the return of the classic, cozy silhouette that not only keeps us warm but also serves as an easy layering piece to wear on its own or bundled under a coat, cropped jacket or a shawl. They go along very well with dresses, long sweaters and skirts. They also bring an edge to your entire look and also keep you warm.
6. Sweater dress:- Sweater dresses are mainly worn during the fall but they are a huge trend this winters. You can pair them up with any possible footwear and look super chic. They go with knee length boots, ankle length boots, lace up combat boots, running shoes, leggings, stockings.. literally everything. Top it all up with a country hat and you are ready to rock.
7. Beanies :- Beanies are a big hit this season. They are stylish and also help you keep warm. They come on various designs and colors therefore it’s hard to get bored of them.
8. Dark shade lipsticks:- Kylie Jenner started the trend of dark fun colors and they were a huge hit during the fall. well the trend is still on and these dark shades of reed, purple, brown and blue are makeup must haves.
9. Cute sweaters:-Its back to the 70s and people are getting over anything with zips and buttons. So, pullovers, sweaters and jumpers are making there way onto the streets.
10. Leather Pants:-Pair your alternative lower wear with a dressy top for a night out or a blazer for the office. Apart from our classic well fitted leather pants, tailored pants are making it big in the fashion industry.

Summer festival look and essentials

Hello everyone,
Summer is here and it’s the festive time!! We all love fashion, music and a mix of all that jazz.
I bring to you all the essentials that you need to look fabulous and chill at a summer music festival.

1) Sunnies:-
It’s summers and the sun is shinning high. I’m sure you girls want to enjoy this season instead of walking partially blinded in the sun. Wear a cool pair of sunglasses preferably a one with bright and colourful frames. They protect you from UV rays and are the coolest accessory available.

2) Caps/Hats:-
Hats and caps are the cutest head accessories possible. There are a huge variety, designs and colors available to match any possible outfit. It also shields you from the harsh harmful sun rays.

3) Footwear:-
Your feet need all the rest they can get as you have to do a lot of walking. Choose your most comfortable pair of heels or nice boots. Wedges or block heels would be a very good option

4) Accessories:-
The best accessories for a summer festival are hats and sunglasses as discussed earlier. If you are all about accessories go for a bunch of bracelets and a choker. Don’t go for a statement piece of jewellery as it would be hot and not comfortable at all.

5) Clothing:-
The temperatures are going to be hitting the roof so it’s the perfect time to pull out those shorts, skirts, backless tops and short dresses. A cute little flowy Bohemian dress would be great for the day. For colors it would be better to go for whites and pastel colors. Don’t go for dark colors as they absorb a lot of heat.

Also remember to keep yourself hydrated as this is the only thing that will keep you pumped up the entire day.

THREE WAYS TO STYLE A LONG MAXI SIDE SLIT TOP!!

Hey everyone,
I bought this cool Long maxi side slit top from FAB ALLEY and I simply love how versatile it is. You can just go crazy styling this top.

In this post I’m going to style this top in three different ways. So, let’s get going…(before I start, I would like to let all of you know that this post is not in collaboration with any brand)

1) AS A TOP-

In this look I paired the top with simple denim shorts that I bought from VERO MODA. I chose to wear a pair of sequence sneakers with it. To complete the look I wore a simple thin beaded necklace. This is a great look for a brunch or a movie or just a fun day out with friends.

2) AS A DRESS-

In this look I simply made the top look like a belt by wearing a thin waist belt over the top. If the slit is too high for you, you can always use safety pins.
This dress can be paired with heels to give it a night gown feel. As you can add in some bling to boost your swag.

3) AS A SKIRT-

Wear another top to cover the upper portion and use the lower portion as a long side slit maxi dress. I have accessoried this look with a scarf from accessorize. I tied the scarf around my neck in the form of a bow. This is a perfect date look.
