Makeup is love and life. I love get my hands on any good and new makeup product available to try. Deborah Milano is a well-known makeup brand and it is loved by people all over the world. They have all sorts of makeup available for eyes, lips, face and hands. They also have a huge range of makeup accessories. Now lets not waste time and get down to discussing the Deborah Milano products I got from a New U store.

1. Deborah Milano Love My Lashes Mascara Volume:-

I love mascaras. They are my lifeline, I can’t walk out of my house without slapping some mascara on. This mascara does wonders for my lashes. It is a voluminous mascara and will make your lashes look bigger and more glamorous. I have a lot of black mascaras and was getting bored with them so, tried this brown one and realised how brown compliments my skin tone better than the black one.

It comes enriched with natural and synthetic and acacia gum for proper adhesion. Furthermore, the wavy bristle tips help in even distribution. It is priced at Rs 450.

2. Deborah Milano Extra LipStick:-

We have all tried to achieve the perfect 3 D ombre lips and have failed  many times. This limited edition lipstick was designed to create the ultra cool trend. It comes in 12 shades and I am the proud owner of the shade number 10 Rouge Noir.

The lipstick comes with a sponge tip applicator which helps produces a three-dimensional matte look. It is a very pigmented lipstick in matte texture. Enriched with minerals and plant-based waxes, the advanced formula glides on easily and precisely, and will take you through the whole day. It is Priced at Rs 950

3. Deborah Milano 24 Ore  long-lasting lip pencil:-

Lip pencils are a must have for every women. I find lip pencils better than lipsticks as they are more handy and easier to use. The Deborah Milano 24ORE Long Lasting Lip Pencil comes in a retractable design. It is a non transferable, smudge-proof lip color.

These lip pencils come in 8 shades. I am going to swatch number 02 (Vivid Red) and number 04 (Pink Cyclamen) for you. They are priced at Rs 595 each.

TOPO PAW PAW Ointment- Review

You must be wondering what the hell is a Paw Paw ointment? Well I was wondering the same thing till a few days ago when my dear friend SpexySrish gifted me TOPO’s Paw Paw Ointment. Basically this is Australia’s cult product. For over 100 years every Australian has been slapping this ointment on their lips.

What is a Paw Paw Ointment?

A Paw paw ointment is made of a few ingredients like Petrolatum, Carica Papaya(papaws) Fruit Extract, Beeswax and Potassium Sorbate.

The active ingredient is created by using a fermentation process to concentrate the enzymes from Australian papaws, rather than using a processed papaw powder from overseas. The freshly fermented papaw has healing properties which are very potent and has to be carefully balanced or it will be too strong for human use. The papaw is used to draw out impurities and has antiseptic qualities, while the petroleum jelly helps to heal.

Controversies surrounding Paw Paw Ointment:-

Many people believe the paw paw ointment to be a glorified and expensive petroleum jelly. There have been so many blog posts claiming to expose the truth about paw paw ointment but still, this ointment continues to be the most consumed product in Australia.

My experience:-

After using the TOPO Paw paw ointment for a few weeks I have found it helpful in various ways. It does help heal chapped lips and in addition to that is also good for insect bites and rashes. Like petroleum jelly it is not that greasy and keeps your lips moisturized for much longer.

This ointment is only available in Australia, so the next time you happen to travel to Australia don’t forget to pick one of these for yourself. 

 

Winter Care by Himalaya Herbals – Review

I am not a big fan of winters and unfortunately I live in one of the coldest cities of India. The temperatures of Delhi are dropping day after day and my bones are shivering to the core. Winters can make us very lazy hence leading us to take no care of our skin. We start drinking less water, stop moisturizing at least twice a day, get chapped skin and lips, our skin dries up etc.

I received a package of winter skin care from Himalaya Herbals and have been using them this season. Himalaya is one of the most trusted brands in India. Himalaya has amazing herbal products that we all love. So, let’s get talking about the 3 essential products of winter care.

1. Himalaya Cocoa Butter Intensive Body Lotion:-

Price: Rs.140/- for 200ml. This body lotion smells fantastic. I cannot stop using it mainly because of the amazing smell of Cocoa butter. The key ingredients are Cocoa Butter and Wheat Germ Oil. The consistency of the lotion is thick but it’s not at all sticky. The body lotion nourishes and intensely moisturizes your skin. Buy it here.

2. Himalaya Nourishing Skin Cream:-

Price: Rs.220/- for 200ml. Himalaya’s Nourishing Skin Cream is a light, non greasy, daily-use cream, which provides all day moisturizing, nourishment and protection. The cream is blended with the extracts of Aloe Vera, Winter Cherry, Indian Kino Tree and Indian Pennywort, which protect your skin from pollution and dry weather, providing nourishment and moisture. 3. Himalaya Strawberry Shine Lip Care Balm:-

Price: Rs.140/- for 4.5gm. Lip balms are very important for me. Whether it is summers or winters, I can’t live without my lip balm. I absolutely hate that layer of chapped skin on my lips. In winters there is an increased chance of decrease in moisture of the skin leading to chapped lips. This Himalaya strawberry lip balm is a perfect moisturizing lip balm as it is not tinted and has a lot of shine. Strawberry Seed Oil is a rich source of essential fatty acids, acts as an excellent emollient and helps maintain the skin’s moisture balance. Apricot Kernel Oil is a rich source of Vitamin E and an emollient which effectively moisturizes dry and chapped lips. Natural Bath & Body is one of my favorite skin care brands. This cream is nourishing and contains amazing ingredients. The smell of grapefruit and is so good.

Bella Voste Lip Gloss:-

This lip gloss smooth, pigmented, creamy, plumping and hydrating. The shade I got is Mercier Rouge 04. The lipgloss is free of any mineral oils. It is a long lasting lipgloss and very safe on the lips.

Bio Bloom Hand Made Soap:-

The BioBloom soap that I recieved is of the flavour Neem, Aloe Vera and Basil. It is a cool translucent green bar of soap that smells strongly of its ingredients. This product is also exclusively packed for Glamego box.

My Opinion:-

This is such an affordable box. At just ₹ 399/- the value of the box is more than ₹2,318/-. We have received amazing quality skincare products and makeup. This box is keeping up with the skin care and makeup trends. As we all know that matte lips are out of fashion and its all about glosses now. Therefore, it was great to see a lip gloss in this box instead of a lipstick.

Also face oils are the hottest thing in skin care market. The BioBloom face oil is a good anti-aging oil. It smells of all the fantastic ingredients. Natural Bath & Body is loved by all. The smell of grapefruit is delicious. The cream is of good consistency and I will surly buy the full size cream after finishing off this sample.
