Spring summer collection at SHEIN

I have quarantined myself and can’t stop shopping online and how can I when the offers on SHEINhttp://shein.top/w8gi6sy are crazy right now.

I checked the Spring-summer collection on their website and picked up a few pieces. Here is what I shopped.

1. Solid Roll Up Skinny Jeans:-

This jeans is so sexy. It fits so well and is one of my favourite purchase from Shein. I love the detailing on the fold below and I got it for just ₹1285

2. Plaid Lapel Collar Blazer and Tailored pants:-

I have always been a fan of a good blazer and pant set. I like that this set can be styled both in formal and casual way. I love the gold buttons.

3. Pleated Elastic Waist Skirt:-

I am currently obsessed with pleated skirts. I love the way the flow and are so comfortable while being extremely stylish. The material of this skirt is so good. I chose the size Small and paired it with a black top.

4. Hook and Eye Front lantern sleeve Peplum Blouse:-

This satin blouse is so gorgeous. Everything about it is amazing. I love the hook and eye buttons and the peplum sleeves. Love that the sleeves have a bit of a drama. This blouse is a bit translucent and make sure to go a size down while buying it.

5. Lettuce Edge Button Front Rib Cami Dress:-

If you are a huge fan of bodycon dresses, this dress is your dream. It fits my body so well. I love the front buttons. The lengths is just perfect. I would definitely love to style it with a plain black top inside. It’s perfect for the spring – summer time.

1. Solid Crop Denim Jacket:-

Well, I love this coz it’s bright and beautiful and is great to bring a pop of colour to any outfit. A denim jacket is also perfect for Bangalore’s weather and therefore I wanted to get one in a colour other than blue. This is retailed at ₹ 1,704.

I am obsessed with denims and specially the ones that look different. This utility jeans is so cool. Also the dark wash colour gives it a more utility jeans vibe. SHEIN Black Friday Sale Haul

Hey guys,

By now you know that I am a shopaholic and I love nothing more than a good sale.

This is a turmeric face pack mixed with essential oils. It contains the goodness of katuri manjal, with turmeric roots, bentonite clay, natural white clay, fuller earth, essential oils. NATURAL BATH & BODY GRAPEFRUIT AND VITAMIN C VITAL NOURISHMENT CREAM:-

Natural Bath & Body is one of my favorite skin care brands. This cream is nourishing and contains amazing ingredients. The smell of grapefruit and is so good.

MY OPINION:-

This is such an affordable box. At just ₹ 399/- the value of the box is more than ₹1774/-. We have received amazing quality skincare products and makeup.

Natural Bath & Body is loved by all. The smell of grapefruit is delicious. The cream is of good consistency and I will surly buy the full size cream after finishing off this sample. Island Kiss lip balm is such an internet sensation and I am so excited to try it. I have not tried any of the makeup from NELF and am therefore very excited about it.

I have fallen in love with Inatur Herbals and their products. Everything that I have tried so far is super effective and skin friendly. Earlier I had reviewed their Oil Control face wash and today I am going to review their Tea Tree Skin Clarifying Facial Gel.

About the product:-

INATUR Tea Tree skin clarifying facial gel is an alcohol-free and PH balanced facial gel enriched with pure essential oils, herbal complexes and anti-oxidants that are especially good for people with oily skin type.

It helps to remove acne-causing bacteria, excessive oil and blackheads while hydrating the skin.

It contains Aloe Vera extracts- that heal and hydrate the skin, Turmeric extracts- that enhance skin complexion, Tea Tree oil- that controls sebum production and acne, Neem extracts- that have antiseptic and anti microbial properties and Vitamin E- that is another anti-oxidant.

Application of this product gives a brighter, hydrated and softer skin.

Direction to use:-

My experience with Tea Tree Clarifying Facial Gel:-

The Tea Tree Clarifying Facial Gel is a clear gel that smells strongly of tea tree, neem, aloe vera and other herbal ingredients. The smell is very refreshing.

Firstly lets talk about the skin problems that I was facing before I started using this product. My acne and acne scars were out of control. It was like I had hit puberty all over again 😦

I started using the gel along with Inatur Oil control face wash and it is doing wonders to my skin. My acne has reduced significantly and my acne spots are becoming lighter. Also my skin has started glowing. The gel gets absorbed quickly and does not feel sticky on my skin. My skin has been feeling hydrated and smoother since I have started using this Tea tree Face gel. The tea tree oil cures acne and also cures the scars created by them.

Inatur Herbals Oil Control Face Wash- Review

Skin care is a very important part of our daily routines. I recently migrated from chemical based to all natural products. There are many brands with exciting products in Indian market. So, I decided to use a few myself to battle out my skin problems.

I came across a brand INATUR HERBALS that comprises of a range of natural skin care, hair care and personal care products that are safe on skin and result oriented. I decided to try a few of their products. This post is a review of their Oil Control Face Wash.

PACKAGING:-

It  comes in a green see through tube with light green leaves printed all over it. It has a plastic flip cap that closes tightly. The packaging looks cool and fun.

ABOUT THE PRODUCT:-

Inatur’s oil control face wash is enriched with Neem- that has anti-bacterial properties, helps in controlling pimples & acne and their recurrence. Clove oil- that prevents acne and kills infections, Basil- detoxifies the skin, improves the skin tone & prevents blackheads and Miliglobules- that provide gentle exfoliation.

It helps to open clogged pores, eliminates impurities and excess oil and also prevents occurrence of pimples.

For best results, use it twice daily- in the morning and at the end of the day.

It is ideal for Oily /Acne-prone skin.

DIRECTIONS TO USE:-

Moisten face, apply a small quantity of the face wash and gently work up lather in a circular motion. Wash off with water and pat dry. Use twice a day- in the morning and before going to bed for best results.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH INATUR HERBALS OIL CONTROL FACE WASH :-

The face wash looks like a clear gel with blue beads or miliglobules that provide gentle exfoliation. The face wash smells of some herbal ingredients. It is refreshing. I have a combination skin that tends to break out a lot in winters. This face wash contains tea tree oil which prevents pimples. Basil, clove, neem and turmeric have antiseptic and healing properties. The face wash definitely washed away all the oil from my face and prevented it from coming back for at least 5 hours. The only drawback is that it barely did anything for my blackheads. Also I am a huge fan of bubbles and being a soap free face wash this product does not lather well.

PROS:-

• Removes excess oil from the face
• Smells good
• Refreshes dull skin
• 100% natural and cruelty free
• Available in travel sizes
• Sulphate free

CONS:-

• Not useful for all skin types (available for normal to oily skin)

WILL I EVER USE THIS FACE WASH AGAIN:-

Definitely YES!! This is one of the few products that actually stands true to its claims. Also its a sulphate free, 100% natural product and is not at all harsh on my skin.

Euphorbia box- Review

I love trying out beauty boxes and I am always on a lookout for new and affordable ones.

In the month of October I saw a few of my friends review a new box that was super affordable and with an impressive selection of products in the October box.

So I placed order for the box, they were sold out for the October month and I just got my first box in November.

This blog is to review the Euphorbia box.

Here is a little bit about the box from their website. Euphorbia box is a small, family-owned start-up company. The box is designed to help users explore the world of beauty & skin care products and discover their favorite products in a convenient, effortless and affordable way.

Lets take a look November’s Euphorbia Box-

Packaging-

It is a simple carboard box with Euphorbia box written in blue with the products nicely bubble wrapped inside.

I like the simplicity of the packaging.

Price-

I got this box at the launching price of Rs 199. This months box is now available for Rs 248

Products-

1. Ang-Tatva Kaya Tatva Scrub-off (Rs 345 for 75g)

This herbal scrub looks interesting and I look forward to trying this product, however I am surprised that manufacturing date is not mentioned on this product. It has a very strong scent of turmeric but I don’t mind that.

2. HM Have More Dry Matte Nail Polish (Rs 299)

From the packaging the nail paint does not look very expensive as the print and the bottle looks cheap so I am bit surprised that the product retails for Rs 299. The colour is red and I am not too excited about the product.

3. BioBloom Face Wash (Rs 160 for 30ml)

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting any sample products in the box as there were none in he October box. This sample size product is paraben ans sulphate free which is definitely a good thing but, it is too tiny to impress me.

4. Duft Facial Wipes (Rs 79 for 25wipes)

They are alcohol and paraben free wipes and I can’t complain about them.

5. Mama Earth Sunscreen SPF 20+ (sample size of 7ml)

This was a bummer. This sample size product is for children of age 0-5 years so not useful for me at all. I mean I am sure not all the people ordering this box are people with children so, including this tiny sample as a product is just ridiculous. 

My verdict

At this time I am just scared because I ordered a 3 months subscription and I am dreading the next two month’s boxes. Overall I am disappointed with the selection of products available in the November box especially when I compare it with the impressive product range that were available in the month of October. This month’s box was just boring. It just failed in every aspect possible. I am struggling to call the box average. I hope the curators can make the December box full of surprises.

MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lip Colour- Fashion Legacy- Review and Swatches

Hey Guys,

Sometime back I had posted a picture of me on Instagram and Facebook, my lipstick gained a lot of attention! So I decided to dedicate one post to the much talked about lipstick. The lipstick I am talking about is my go to RED lipstick- MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lip Colour in the shade FASHION LEGACY. Lets take a closer look at the lipstick.

THE PACKAGING:-

The packaging like every MAC product ; very chic. This is a liquid  lipstick therefore it doesn’t come in the signature black capsuled packaging. It comes in a beautiful see through plastic packaging. The cap of the lipstick is the classic black MAC packaging with MAC printed in silver.

PRICE:-

THE APPLICATOR:-

The applicator is attached to this beautiful transparent wand. This sponge applicator is soft. As the applicator wand is short, it helps in precise application.

PIGMENTATION :-

This lipstick is very pigmented. A single swipe is sufficient to cover your lips completely. Amazing pigmentation makes it difficult to get the lipstick off though.

TEXTURE:-

The lipstick is quite thick and creamy, certainly not a lightweight translucent texture. It sets quickly to a totally matte finish.

STAYING POWER:-

Lipstick stays on your lips for as long as you want but it does get dry and starts cracking in around 5 hours. It cracks  up in the middle and the powder starts settling on the borders of your lips. So, you do need to touch it up in every 4-5 hours.

SWATCHES:-

Smells good!! – Review of my favourite Body Mists

What does summer remind you of? If your answer is loads of sweat and foul body odor, you are at the right place.
I feel refreshing when I use body mist, especially in this summer heat. It helps mask our sweaty humanly scent and also leaves us feeling cool. Over the past few months I have tried many body mists.
So I decided to write a blog about these body mists and sharing details of which ones I like the best and why.

1. Moringa body mist by The Body Shop –

This was the first body mist that I ever bought. The subtle, delicate fresh floral smell of the body mist is refreshing, especially when used early morning after shower. I love that it does not have a sweet smell or an alcoholic scent to it. The fragrance lasts for 1-2 hours, there is a light hint of smell for longer period of time.
Recommended for those who like subtle smell based body mist.
Now that we have covered the smell of the body mist, here are some details about packaging – It comes in a transparent glass bottle so try not to drop it :). The nozzle for spraying is of very good quality and works properly.

2. Beautiful day body mist by Natural Bath & Body –

It has a sweet floral smell with a cooling sensation. I do wish that the smell would last longer (at best the smell lasts for an hour).
Packaging– It comes in plastic bottle. I had received a sample size product in my fab bag. The nozzle for spraying came off within a few days.

3. Oriental body mist by Streax –

I wanted to compare economical body mist to the other options in the market. So I bought this one as it had really good reviews from customers on Amazon.
As name suggests, it has oriental smell (unique blend of warmth and sensuality). I find the smell pleasant. I could smell hints of musk, vanilla and jasmine in the body mist, because of which I use it as a deodorant.
Those who like oriental smell should give it a try.
The smell lasts for 2-3 hrs.
Packaging- The body mist comes in purple plastic bottle that you can carry in your purse. The nozzle for spraying is of good quality.

4. Nargis body mist by Forest Essentials –

This is my favourite one. Cooling sensation when you apply the body mist is amazing. The body mist has a powering sweet and fresh smell of Nargis. This feminine body mist is recommended for ladies who love refreshing strong floral scent and the smell is long-lasting. The only thing bad about this product is that it is expensive.
Packaging -The bottle comes in a transparent plastic bottle that you can carry in your purse. The nozzle for spraying is of very good quality.

5. Forever 16 body mist by NewU –

The body mist captures a 16-year-old girl’s spirit (pun intended!).
It has a sweet fruity smell. It is perfect for teenage girls or for those who are young at heart. The only problem is the sticky sensation left behind when you apply the mist.
The smell is long-lasting.
Packaging- It comes transparent plastic bottle and the nozzle for spraying is sturdy and is great value for money.

I like the fact that the smell is not overpowering. Again the initial sticky sensation when applying the body mist may be unpleasant to some (the sensation fades away).
The smell is long-lasting.
Packaging- It comes transparent plastic bottle and the nozzle for spraying is sturdy and is great value for money.
