Euphorbia box- Review

I love trying out beauty boxes and I am always on a lookout for new and affordable ones.

In the month of October I saw a few of my friends review a new box that was super affordable and with an impressive selection of products in the October box.

So I placed order for the box, they were sold out for the October month and I just got my first box in November.

This blog is to review the Euphorbia box.

Here is a little bit about the box from their website. Euphorbia box is a small, family-owned start-up company. The box is designed to help users explore the world of beauty & skin care products and discover their favorite products in a convenient, effortless and affordable way.

Lets take a look November’s Euphorbia Box-

Packaging-

It is a simple carboard box with Euphorbia box written in blue with the products nicely bubble wrapped inside.

I like the simplicity of the packaging.

Price-

I got this box at the launching price of Rs 199. This months box is now available for Rs 248

Products-

1. Ang-Tatva Kaya Tatva Scrub-off (Rs 345 for 75g)

This herbal scrub looks interesting and I look forward to trying this product, however I am surprised that manufacturing date is not mentioned on this product. It has a very strong scent of turmeric but I don’t mind that.

2. HM Have More Dry Matte Nail Polish (Rs 299)

From the packaging the nail paint does not look very expensive as the print and the bottle looks cheap so I am bit surprised that the product retails for Rs 299. The colour is red and I am not too excited about the product.

3. BioBloom Face Wash (Rs 160 for 30ml)

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting any sample products in the box as there were none in he October box. This sample size product is paraben ans sulphate free which is definitely a good thing but, it is too tiny to impress me.

4. Duft Facial Wipes (Rs 79 for 25wipes)

They are alcohol and paraben free wipes and I can’t complain about them.

5. Mama Earth Sunscreen SPF 20+ (sample size of 7ml)

This was a bummer. This sample size product is for children of age 0-5 years so not useful for me at all. I mean I am sure not all the people ordering this box are people with children so, including this tiny sample as a product is just ridiculous. 

My verdict

At this time I am just scared because I ordered a 3 months subscription and I am dreading the next two month’s boxes. Overall I am disappointed with the selection of products available in the November box especially when I compare it with the impressive product range that were available in the month of October. This month’s box was just boring. It just failed in every aspect possible. I am struggling to call the box average. I hope the curators can make the December box full of surprises.

In this post I will be talking about two of the products:- Double use-Top & Base Coat and Peel off glitter base.

DOUBLE USE- TOP & BASE COAT

How to use it-

As a Base coat– Apply a coat of a the product on your bare nails just before applying the nail paint. This protects staining of your nails and helps the nail paint last longer.

As a Top Coat– Apply a coat of the clear plasticizer over your dried nail paint for longer lasting effect of the nail paint and a glossy finish to your nail paint.

My experience with the Double Use-Top & Base Coat-

I am absolutely in love with this product. A base coat and a top coat in a single bottle is a genius idea and I am so happy that Jaquilne USA executed this idea with great success. It is also very  affordable. I have used it quite a few times and must say it does its job as both a top coat and a base coat excellently.PEEL-OFF GLITTER BASE

Performance-

• Instantly removes glitter nail polish without the mess of acetone removal.
• Allows frequent glitter changes, so perfect for party time or special occasions.
• Nails are efficiently protected against staining and yellowing due to pigments discoloration.

Ingredients-

Aqua, polyvinyl acetate, phenoxyethanol, methyl ether, acrylates copolymer, dimethicone, ethylhexylglycerin, tocopheryl acetate

Price-

Rs 249/-

How to use it-

1. Apply two coats of peel – off base on bare nails.
2. Let dry for about 10 minutes until the film becomes transparent.
3. Apply your favourite glitter nail polish on top.
4. To remove, just peel it off.

My experience with the Peel–Off Glitter Base-

I am a huge fan of glitter, but glitter nail paints can be tricky. They are hard to remove and even when they do come out, they leave my nails feeling rough and weird. This product is an absolute brilliant idea. Its great when I go out partying on the weekends with my glitter nail paint and on Mondays I just have to peel it off to get ready for work.

In conclusion I am glad Jaquiline USA along with NewU Dabur thought of bringing an affordable range of nail care products to India. I am very impressed with these Jaquiline USA nail care products and will surely be trying the rest of the nail care products in their range soon.
